I was running the proline protrac wheels with no issues. It seemed to be an isolated issue with quality. I am now running DE xxx-sct rears (they are 2mm wider per side than the stock rims, while the jconcepts hazard rims add 1.5mm per side). To compensate I filed a tiny bit of material off the face of the stock plastic hexes and it works perfectly.

I have that cover on my truck and I love it when the track gets sloppy. Be prepared to watch your esc temps rise 20-25% though.
