sorry about the pic clarity I didnt want to take the motor out of the sealed bag just in case it was something drastic
Those pics could be a little deceiving, but it looks to me that the rust on the end is more than just something superficial that you can wire brush off.
Could be wrong though since the pics aren't the clearest.
