Not sure which Orion plug you were running, but that particular OS plug is a fairly cold plug might try a hotter plug p4 or p5.

But, changing fuels to help with tune won't help find/fix the problem. Stick with one brand and % of fuel, and get the engine tuned with the plugs you can get. With out being there, I would say the carb is a rich for that plug. A hotter plug will help, but tuning will need to be done no matter what plug you chose..

Find yourself a good engine tuner and ask him for some help and advise. It is impossible to trouble shoot flame out / tuning problems over the internet..
