pretty much decided I am going to grab myself a 4.1 factory kit tonight.
was thinking b44 and schumacher cougar, but the parts availability is better and its a shitload cheaper than the schumacher, and ive never run 4wd and figre a 2wd is best for getting back into the sport.
Anything I should know before I bite the bullet guys? Also, is the diff a ball diff or the grease packed 4 idler style diff? (not sure the correct term)
Also, if you could have any "custom" parts made for the 4.1 that you cant seem to find anywhere, what are they? I am a machinist and I am interested in starting a little side project for these cars. I have the ability to make _anything_, within medical and aerospace tolerances. Custom one off items are possible too for those with bottomless pockets.
