Now it's relevant.
I wish I could attend. Talking with Maifield and the crew at the 1/8e Nats was a great opportunity. I learned a few things from them and ended up buying a T4.1 after talking with them. Ryan was really friendly and helpful as was the other driver (was it Thielke?). The two AE guys in his pit crew weren't very talkative but I figured they were just busy making the drivers look good.
I definitely recommend heading out to the Reedy race like Rick suggests. The drivers are very friendly and approachable. Just don't bother their pit crew.
