I just got my 12v unit. It will get the ultimate test over the next few months. This is our 'indoor' season(outdoor in a covered barn), so it will have to preheat a car in 30-40 deg weather. I'll report back on my luck with this unit.
Sounds like fun (covered barn) What track is this might I ask?
If the track has 110 you probably would have been better of with our AC Comp Heater, just plug it in and you can pretty much forget about it until your ready to fire it up.
If the condititions are going to be that cold I would recommend a 5000 mah battery for longer pre- heating.
