I got one with the RC8Te CE I bought a couple weeks ago, and have since installed it in my buggy (since I sold the truggy). Dude, you will absolutely never use any other motor mount again. It may seem pricey now, but think about this- remove ONE screw, and your motor slides right out. Need to make a gear-mesh change? Simply loosen that same screw, slide the motor to where it needs to be, and re-tighten. That's IT.

Never again will you have to remove the entire motor mount by means of the two screws securing it to the chassis, then the two long screws holding the front diff supports in place, just to get to the motor (without using a dreaded L-wrench, that is). Plus, a bearing is included which further supports the motor shaft as it sits in the mount, protecting your expensive investment in a way no other mount offers.

Just be sure to use only short pinions, because the ones from Associated are too long, and will go beyond your spur gear. Robinson Racing pinions work great. The side of the pinion on which the screw secures it faces towards the motor when use with an Elite-RC mount. You also need to have preferably 1/2" of shaft length available to mount the pinion.

Get one, dude. You will absolutely love it.
