You really need to take extra care with removing sleeve from case with prying thru exhaust port with zip tie or anything else, as I see many with sleeve damages requiring repairs. On the more stub urn cases that sleeve just does not seem to give, I suggest first preheating case (remove the carb) in oven approx 250F thru 300F for 15 minutes or so. If preheating with doubled up zip tie method does not free sleeve, you have the option to ship engine case to me. I use a sleeve extracting tool (designed and made by me) that drives from the sleeve complete bottom area. Once the case assembly is preheated it takes me just a few minute to complete disassembly. Provided to my repeat customers as a courtesy extra free service.
