I'm not talking about any blip-blip running, I'm talking
about running on the pipe full throddle around the big D.O.
action. As always, I did this to see if the JL could
take the abuse. The JL and the plug never let me down.
It had a great top end and dug in great in the sweepers.
I never proclaimed that the Dynamite was THE plug to
run in these engines. I was just relateing that I tried
it and it is working just fine for me. The JL engine is one
of the easiest engines to tune there is. Even when there
is big changes in air temp and humidity, only very minor
tweeks in tune are needed, if any.
I'm going to bolt the JL in my DM-1. Lets see how it will
fare on the pavement this weekend. I think the JL will make
some great numbers on the radar gun.
Jeffro, the DM1 was one of my first tests for my Clocked JL. A few high speed passes and realized it was too much top end for where I can run mine. I have some new lower gears to try out when I get a chance. Let us know how your's works out.
