Sounds like all you need to do is to reverese the direction of the throttle channel. See pg 49 in your manual and follow the directions. This will make it go forward when you pull the trigger and brake when you push. You need to do this wioth some setups, its a matter of trying it and if its backwards, then reversing the channel.

Hopefully you have not messed something else up....
