That is slick! Have to love user ingenuity Somebody understood what was going there pretty well.

We need to look at it closer before we endorse it. You are actually giving the esc control circuits 3s voltage and letting our regulators provide the 6V to the receiver. The only downside is that our bec regulators cannot put out as much current due to the higher supply voltage which should not be problem in the 1S cars.

Should actually work the same with a 1S lipo added on the switch line. That really gives us the 2s lipo voltage we want.
