Right now Im running the green and gold springs on long wear losi shoes with about 3 or so gallons and to me they dont look very worn at all. I have'nt had to clean them up at all.
With all silver I have gone through a set of lightened shoes in a 30 min main with all sliver, but the low end was helped out. You might get 1/2 gallon on them before they get to the 23.4mm measurement, but not much more. I switched to an OS speed and went with king headz 6061 2 green and 2 gold and they wear very very slow. I have over a gallon on this setup and the wear is minimal 24.3-24.4 hardly any wear at all. The speed has plenty of bottom, mid and top end. I love it.
