nah the compression is the same, just the squish band is changed. Most of Ed's mods can't be seen and/or go easily unnoticed.
We've had ppl call in saying this engine isn't modded...
Make sure you only use the one shim supplied in the kit. Chuck the stock shims. On the stock button the aluminum shim can go unnoticed because it stick to the button. you may need a razor to lift it off the button.
