I am also a total newb to the racing world.. so I don't know anything about setups. Are you guys changing your shock oil/springs/sway bars??
It's ok man, Im a newb too Everyone here was at one point
Buddy, you need to run the 1.0 shock ends instead of the new ones, same goes for the servo saver spring(use a 1.0 truggy spring). You should also hit up J-DUB via pm for some modded hubs so you wont have to deal with a dnf due to a 8x14 bearing failure. Also look at the illustrations above that go over the dremeling of the front arms. The 2.0 spring retainers are fine to my knowledge. My truck will be here today(Im basing everything off of info I have gathered here or from my friend who runs the truck) I plan on running box stock chassis setup, fluids and swaybars to start with, I will be racing it this Saturday @ Jtec in Illinois. I heard its really good out of the box in factory race roller form........just do the normal preventetive maintenance before you hit the track again.......good luck man and enjoy this wonderful hobby/sport........remember, its all about having fun and meeting new people cheers!
