Which MaxAmps pack are you looking at? If it's only rated at 100amps, you better look some more. You need a rating higher than 100amps in order to get a pack that will handle 100amps (see overrated). Also, I don't know where you get the 75amp info on the MMM. We've used an EagleTree a couple of times and see many spikes at 100+ amps.

this thread and ask the pro's, "What would you rather run in your 1/8 conversion, MaxAmps packs or Zippy packs?" You will probably find that there is a mixed response because they are very comparable in performance. The only difference is the price....I wouldn't use either, myself.
