i tried that with my 3 port race spec. i tried to use a headbutton from a RB CONCEPTS 5port l2g with stander plug, i found that the standerd head button was too thick, it measured (i think ) .030 thicker than the turbo plug head button. so i wouldnt use it that head button unless it was ground down to the same size,(or thickness) as the turbo head. but i bet the head button from the 3 port sport motor with the blue head from go-tech would work? I was looking at my Novarossi standard button and it is too thick as well. Before I bought one, I figured I would ask here and see if anyone else had tried it.
I race at the RC Outlaws track in Collinsville, IL. Although, with the way things have been going with the weather, I may start going to Dirtburners in St. Louis, MO. We race every other Sunday whereas the Dirtburners folks race every Saturday...double the chances to get some track time in! We have lost a third of our race days to rain this year.
