I have the feeling 2005, 2006, 2007 production of novarossi glowplugs were not long lasting as they were in 2003. The glow plugs have short life span, sometimes last only 20 - 30 minutes. It seems the glow plugs cannot stand long period of high operating temperatures ( I live in tropical country ). Lately I have to prepare 3 - 4 glow plugs for 1 day racing ( 1/10 engine ), and 4-5 glow plugs for 1/8 . Currently my glow plugs are easy to die resulted from high operating temperature ( 110 C )

Anyone have the same feeling ?
Here, we have had a batch of Novarossi plug that were "playing up" so most stopped using it back approx 2 years ago. Then most switched to Odonnel and they were great and lower price too. Now people start saying the "funny" thing is happening to the Odonnel plug!
Your 2006 or 2007 batch could be the same 2005 batch.
I used to have short life from Plug, 1 per day.
Now change plug ave of 80 to 90min run time after checking the conrod and bearing more frequently and play more attention to the engine tunning. Smoke and sound, as well as Temp.
