I was on the fence between the tbars before the new one came about. The thinner tbar would make the car dump over and do some odd things... but it soaked up bumps good. The thicker one basically did the opposite, car stayed flat like I needed it too, provided a little more steering, but SUCKED in the bumps at our track.
I've been drilling new tweak screw holes about 8-10mm back form the stock locations. This gives the tbar more side to side stiffness, while having minimal effect front to back. I'm pretty sure most of the guys at snowbirds are running something similar.
