I agree with you on the thrust bearing. Worst diffs I ever had to build. That was by far the longest part of the build too! I am NOT looking forward to rebuilding them!!!! I had to do a ton of sanding/dremeling to my chassis and bulkhead to get my 4200's in as well. Car is great when all is said and done though
Do you triple shrink wrap your cells or something? I had to do some dremeling to my slots, but nothing major. My older IB4200's fit with some air between them and the topdeck, and the EP4200's are a bit smaller.
I thought the build was very smooth and the diffs weren't too bad once I understood the methods for assembling them. I will say that the first diff took quite a while to get right! The second one was done in about 10 minutes or so.
