Found this exceptional work done by JSANPE while searching for some code on GitHub. Its very well written and open source allowing for easier firmware crossovers. I sent p.m. on GitHub, waiting for answer.

Any additional info on this? I assume you took the 4 pin port on the ESC and wired to a micro USB? What was the pin out? Were you then able to simply flash to the SkyRC firmware using the BT dongle or did you need to somehow edit the firmware?
