It will be awhile though because I'm still waiting for the buggy kit to arrive and now the esc and motor combo. I already have a receiver, now just need to figure out which servo to get.
The part number for this combo is FUR-2606.

It's not a direct drop in but it can be made to work. I had to remove the drive shaft cap and the heat shrink (maybe removing the heat shrink wasn't necessary) covering the motor wire/solder joints so I could bend the wires down enough to clear the body. But if the motor mount holes are opened up enough and you get 3mm screws (this motor has holes for both 2.5mm and 3mm screws) you can mount the motor with the wires laying more horizontal to the chassis so that the wires easily clear the body. Another option would be to re-solder the wires horizontally so they are not sticking straight up. And the stock AE 16t pinion has too small a bore so had to get one with an 1/8'' bore. The combo does include a 19t pinion but wanted to start with stock gearing. And the esc that it comes with is really compact so no problem getting it to fit.

As for the servo... I went with the Savox SH-1357. Not a direct fit at all. Awesome performing servo though. I had to shave off a good amount of material from the servo mount and loosen the servo case screws enough to slide the rubber piece (that the wires run through and is mounted to the servo case) out of the way, dremel a channel so the wires would fit through the mount and repair one of the screw holes I destroyed while filing the inside of the case. The servo is a little too tall too, so had to get some spacers to raise it up in order to get the mount to mount flush to the chassis. The part number for the spacers is ZC-S25A.
