YES It is! Everytime you buy a receiver you want to use telemetry you have to buy an Sbuss and it gets expensive! I have a Hite 4s and the telemetry is included in the RX. All I need is GPS and rx battery voltage. Temp.is $10 more. Futaba gps $90 and rx voltage $50 Sbuss $10 Do the math???? Don't get me started on the S buss system?????!!!!!

But why telemetry on every receiver? There is only one car I like to have telemetry but for that I have a stand alone 17 sensor system with realtime readout/recording on a laptop. All other cars are just for the fun.
And beside that, Futaba receivers just cost half the price than previous Sanwa models where the sensor electronics were build in the receiver. Yep, cheap sensors but expensive receivers......

Depends what you want to see. When running electrics the receiver will only show the BEC voltage and not the real battery voltage. I think if I spend an half hour on the SB304 receiver I can modify the internal battery reading to an external (max 2S) battery.
