I had a steering rack breakage today (bearing pulled through), so I’ll get some Exotek aluminum bits to help with that.
Overall they are a blast. I found with my 6.5T motor, running my throttle EPA down to 80% shaved .5+ seconds off my lap times. It was much more like a 13.5 wheeler and way easier to drive. Slowing down the servo speed or getting expo dialed helps tame the steering.
we had a sudden surge in 4wd truck locally so i picked one of these up.
i built it with the same carbon and aluminum bits you mentioned.
i went with the aluminum shock caps just because i remember the bleeders were easy to strip on my eb410
im still running the stock rear hubs, ive picked up a spare set as well as a spare set of towers.
the only time i broke a hub on my eb was when i was smashed into at the end of a straight so well see how it holds up.
im running a 5.5t with a 15t pinion at about 70 percent
