Most of the X series discharge banks need to be disconnected to charge, because it's a big resistor inline with the battery. The easiest thing would be to get a iCharger Duo, which is what 99% of racers are using for this function. But I realize it's $350+ investment with a discharge bank.
But since you already have an X6 and power supply, I'd just buy the X6 discharge bank. It's not going to be any more of a pain to use than a Turbo 35. And it's much smaller.
