I noticed a similar issue on one of my T4'21s - I believe the issue was how I had the esc lead routed. Basically, I ran the esc wire under the motor and the wire was too thick causing the motor to not sit flush against the motor mount, so the top of the motor was leaning in towards the topdeck leaving only about a 0.5mm gap. The other car I have has never had this issue that I've noticed, and that car has the esc wire routed differently.

Do you have your esc lead under your motor? If yes, could you check this?
