A ton of fun and hugely competitive. Top two qualifiers ran long 32 lap runs and the remaining 4 "A" main cars had fast 31's. Several of the "B" main cars also had 31 lap runs. One thing I noted was in the "A" qualifier group that the qualifier was run without a single car being passed by the TQ racer. This is on a track where the fastest lap was 9.3 seconds. We only ran 5 minute qualifiers to shorten the day. That is how competitive the class is. The "A" winner did so by a little over 2 seconds. Second thru fourth were in a short 6 foot train at the finish.
We are having a heck of a time getting the SJT tires. There are talks of going to foam at my track.
