Get the +1mm hexes, I had to for the same reason (though people kept saying it was the wrong offset).
I got everything mounted up
and tried turning the driveline by hand...everything was super tight. I thought I was losing my mind, because I have not read about anyone else having the issue with their SC wheels. The second after I took the picture in the earlier post above, I had some wider hexes "in the mail".
