If you loosen the slipper right off and rotate the wheels, you can see the gear mesh vary. I may get aother to see if it makes a difference.

Nope, still the same. Anyone else get this too? I'm asking on Face =book Team Schumacher page also. Maybe i'm just doing something wrong!?
I have had problems with uneven spur/pinion mesh too. I thought it was from poorly machined gears but when I looked more closely it seemed to be the layshaft out of spec. I changed the kit layshaft out and the new one i have in there also does not seem to be right, but better than the one I replaced.
Let me know what they say when you hear back from them.
