Position 4 is the closest to other cars with laydown position. Our car has a longer wheelbase so in theory we would run the weight slightly more rearward than others
Lighter oil will make the car react faster correct. If theyre running sway bars all around they could run a slightly lighter oil and the bars will control some of the roll in the corners. Same with springs. I wouldnt read too much into other cars setups. our cars use larger 13mm shock bore and have alittle different weight ditribution. Their piston and oils rarely transfer to our shocks. Yes Michal never runs a front sway bar, they like thicker oil to control the speed of front end roll

I'll stick with you Tony ;-) front sway bar ordered...

How do you like the captured ball studs on the outboard steering link? Any binding with that?
You may want to put the ball stud on the other side of the rear hub in the back. It makes the angle less severe and might be a little more free and less prone to possible interference with the spring. It also makes it easier to get a wrench on it for adjustments.

Anyone getting a bent layshaft? I've started to use an Associated B4 slipper spring as it seems a bit more true. Using the std spring it seems to cause the shaft to bend and make the gear mesh irregular. I'll see what it's like after this club race on Wednesday using the different spring.

If you loosen the slipper right off and rotate the wheels, you can see the gear mesh vary. I may get aother to see if it makes a difference.
Edit:
Nope, still the same. Anyone else get this too? I'm asking on Face =book Team Schumacher page also. Maybe i'm just doing something wrong!?

Let me know what they say when you hear back from them.

I have had problems with uneven spur/pinion mesh too. I thought it was from poorly machined gears but when I looked more closely it seemed to be the layshaft out of spec. I changed the kit layshaft out and the new one i have in there also does not seem to be right, but better than the one I replaced.
Let me know what they say when you hear back from them.
