Make sure your drivetrain is as free as possible. My first B6 came alive after about two months. Built a new one (the one with the pucks) and it felt like a dog. Realized that all the crap grease in the bearings of my first one had pretty much been used up, which really freed things up. So I took the seals off the new ones, soaked them in citrus degreaser, blew out the crap with a compressor, and applied Schelle's high grade thin oil. Now the second car is a beast, too.
