Thanks, I will try both of those. I did not think I needed to rebind the receiver, only the esc after the update. I might have the the fan plugged in incorrectly even though I thought it was plugged in right?
On a side note, does plugging the cable that came with the esc into the fan port do anything on the rx8?
If your referring to the hotwire adapter wire that comes with the RX8, then no, you can leave that adapter wire plugged into the ESC and the ESC will still turn on and function properly. You obviously wont be able to plug the fan in if the adapter wire is plugged into the esc.
