The new DX2E that's out (DSMR) is not backwards compatible with the older DSM receivers. I had to switch the radio to a Losi spektrum kit radio. IDK if this is for all versions of the radios, but specifically the DX2E is having these issues.
Well like I said, Spektrum's own website states that they should be compatible. If there is a compatibility issue I'd contact Spektrum and get confirmation.
Or if you do have an extra receiver you can further troubleshoot the issue on your own by seeing if it's the radio that can't bind or if it is in fact the receiver.
