A mirror-finished piston sounds pretty nice. But how can it break-in the piston and sleeve properly if it doesn't use the connecting rod? The connecting rod determines how far the piston travels upwards in the sleeve, and no other part will produce the exact same fit.
WHo said he wasnt using the conrod? Have you read the entire thread and understand how this machine works?
