I dont any experience with the RTR, but I do know a 2250 KV motor is a lot of motor for even a large track. I wouldnt recommend running it on a small track certainly. If you want to change the motor out I would look at something around the 1900kv range. For a small track the motor you have now would probably be good.
Hi, thank you for your reply.. I would like to explain to you my choice. Stock motor was quite weak and I had problems with overheating.. (1650Kv, 1600 watts). My option was 17 pinion, max speed around 56km/h, final internal ration just 9,15.. I could't use smaller pinion because of speed. So I hve decided to change motor for LRP Dynamic 8 2200Kv (2370 watts) with 14 pinion, final internal ration is 11,12.. So motor has much more power and ratio is lighter. I hope thanks to this I will solve troubles with overheating and get the same or higher speed as well. Now I am still waiting for smalller pinion (14) and then I'll see
Regarding to ESC, do you recommend replace stock ESC for something "better"? Anyone has experience with stock ESC and hobbyracing?
I thinking about Skyrc Toro TS150A... Does it make a sense?
