The way iv worked with the flow speedo in the past.
Say you're putting 40 degrees of boost in and the ramp is set at 20 degrees. 20 degrees is applied for every 10k RPM of the motor. So at 20K RPM all of the 40 degrees of boost gets applied. That's if you are geared correctly to hit 20k on your track size.
But, I do not know the point at which the ESC starts to apply it's boost. It use to be around 5k. So if the boost is started at 5k would then at 25K it would be where the boost would finish applying the 40 degrees of boost.
Can someone confirm my way of thinking? I don't see a start rpm for the boost in the new firmware. I wonder if it's algorithm actually starts the boost off soft in the first 10k?
With the new 5.4 it shows the stock settings apart from the boost timing,do you keep the boost timing and ramp close to each other in terms of degrees?
