I find it hard to believe they can't find somebody to read a caliper or ruler. Not only are they way too long to fit in most battery trays on the market, they also happen to be very heavy as well. Almost 200g heavier than the 6500mAh 4s I bought as soon as my refund came back from HK.
Why not go with Pro-Match or SMC for a battery? It's only about $20 more and you will actually receive product service if you need it.
I really appreciate the response, I was going to buy new packs tomorrow so this was a timely response. I am still not totally sure what I want to do for a pack now, those were affordable enough to buy a couple of them. I still have eight 1/10 other cars running on hardcase 7.4 LiPos so it sort of makes sense to buy a few more 7.4 packs and run them in series so I can use those packs with my other cars too vs. having a dedicated pack for my 1/8 stuff.

Then again, having to deal with extra connections of running in series and constantly worrying that I have a cell dropping low and no way to monitor it kind of sucks.. Time to start shopping again I guess, thanks for the suggestions for SMC and Pro-Match. It might come as a shock, but SMC is on back-order. LOL

Thanks again!
