Personally I wouldn't run the castle 2200kv system, that's what I had put in my first EB48 buggy cause it's what I had at the time. Later on I had decided to get a system with a buggy motor...I went with the Tekin 1900kv buggy motor combo and I was surprised to find out the Tekin buggy setup had more power and ran a lot cooler!

I had also geared the new motor so I'd have the same top speed. Actually I gained a couple mph, which should reduce the torque and bring up the temp. I don't know about the hobbywing system, I do know you get what you pay for in my experience.
I've run most.. including a few rx8's, and I'd take the hobbywing 150a over a rx8 (either version) any day and every day of the week. Not only smoother, but they don't break down like the rx8's even the new versions.. those puppy's still pop more than ANY 1/8 esc even after years of revisions. So in this case you get more for less :P
Tekin does make some of the best darn motors around at this point though. Good stuff indeed.
