i don't get a lot of test/tune time. track is too far away. for me, i only get maybe a pack on race day before racing starts. i need to be close when i get there (what "feels" right on bench) and then maybe one or two tweaks before racing starts. i will still give sramos' setup a shot before changing (even though the oil feels too heavy). maybe with the pack these have, i can get away with a lighter spring in the rear if i go down on the oil. i'm just paranoid of the dreaded nose dive if i go too soft on the rear spring.
I'm in the same situation. Live too far from track (60 miles) for much testing except race day. Thats why I'm always there as early as possible. Can you or anyone else elaborate on "feels right on the bench" ??? I do the drop test from a few inches. Not 100% sure I'm looking at the right thing. Also heard someone say the other day that front and rear should raise at the same speed if you press truck down and release????

Don't remember ever discussing "bench testing" on here but I have been curious of the different techniques and opinions.
