Neal, i have a question i need some help with. I found three old Rs5 sleeves in my bag of used up engines. I have messured them and the timing is very close to the P5 we have today. But, theese sylinders have ports under the schnurleports, what wffect does theese ports have? I do not have any pistons for them so i am just curious.
Thanks for your help.
I have some old P5's that have the same sleeve...........Those little bypass ports don't seem to do a whole pile.....But in theory they should reduce the pressure under the piston by allowing trapped mixture to escape while the engine is on the downstroke....
