Yes.. theirs a product called Never Seez used for steel threads so it wont freeze,, can be used on alluminum and plastic its in a silver tube sold at most auto stores about $4.. also get a different set of 12mm hexs like the losi SCTE ones they have a built in spacer.. but any will do that due to heat transfer thru tires into plastic the theres the alluminum hex they love heat
