Yes, i believe all you have to do is upgrade the firmware to the newest for the LCD box BUT keep in mind as just posted before if you update the box you may have issues with some other ESC's so if this is the only esc and box you have your fine, otherwise i would get another box and run just one for your new V3 esc.
Go back to page 686 and read JohnnyRC's post(i beleive its the 4th or 5th from the top and that page pretty much explains the issue
