I am in no way putting down AE. I run exclusively AE vehicles, But this shock business has been aweful for them. Even top team drivers are running Kyosho Springs at least. That would be very wise for AE to do (and Bundle Kyosho springs in the kits). A lot of racers at my local track have already gone to Kyosho BB's on their biggies and trucks, so when the AE's come out, I'm sure I'll be able to get a killer deal on very good proven shocks on the cheap.[/QUOTE]
I would presume the Kyosho shocks you buy for $109 (after looking for some website under a rock) do not come with the aluminum caps, and the new BB's are a $102 from Amain Hobbies Readily available!
After having seen the new shock get assembled and feeling it at the surf city they feel incredible!
And the bleed screws are in NO way hard to assemble! If you nit-pick about something like that then maybe racing is a little too much for ya!
