You can use the Traxxas bottom retainers that come in that kit. All you have to do is round the shock end so you can fit it on. I used a file to remove some of the plastic. It's a bit of an effort, but can be done.

I have never been a fan of Spektrum, I dont know why I have just never trusted them. Ever since my flying days, planes mysteriously crashing or losing control and all with Spektrum. This is not my trying to bash on Spektrum just my point of view form my bad experiences.

But I bought a DX3C because it was Cheap and came with a RX and it was better then the stock SC10RS radio.

Now I feel like upgrading...

Trying to choose between the Futaba 3PL or the new Airtronics MX-V or the older Airtronics MX-3x, or if I should splash out on RCmushroom and get the MT4.
I have always been a Airtronics user. I've tried them all and I always come back to Airtronics. I had one back in 1983 which still has the basic form of the M8/M11 radio of today. The MX3 is also good. For the cost, that is hard to beat.
