The binding happens when the servo is centered, as in it won't push the slider to the left. I have my EPA set so there is no servo noise at full throw at all points of the shock's range of compression. The steering has never bound up returning to center.

Also, the stock ball cups are use for a reason....they must be the proper length to have the correct amount of throw to each side.
The JRXS Type-R captured ends are the same length.
