Should I add weight or get another truck for outdoor? I would like to stick with the truck for this season. I'm running an outdoor setup from the AE site, stick pack, with AE upgrade kit.
Mine is pre-FT: I added 56 grams of lead at the front; 28grams on each side of the servo. Huge improvement.
With my current motor, Tenshock sc401 4600kv, the motor side was still a little heavy, so I added 42 grams of lead on the outside edge of my stick battery right side.
Stock weight for my truck was ~5.8 pounds. The added lead brought it to about 6.3 pounds. Big improvement, but I am still working with it. Some guys have brought their total weight to as much as 6.8 pounds or so.
I recently had an experienced driver tell me that he liked the handling of my plastic chassis / lead setup more than his exotek setup. That was at an indoor track.
I'm expecting the RCshox Center Diff, and RCshox 2-stage pistons soon... right Marcus?
I'm learning that an SC10 with added weight can be as planted as the losi's, but can still out maneuver them.
Thanks for the reply Marcus: The RCshox stuff has shipped!... cmo'n Mr. Postman...!
