I ended up with futaba 4pl. I'm pretty happy with it, but I'm wondering if I should have gotten the spektrum DX3 with telemetry, so I could monitor motor temperature.

There is a chance that I might get a new receiver for the M11 and keep it... not sure
I purchased it used with receiver. after I purchased it, I found it only had a range of about 50yards.
I then found that the receiver antenna was 2 inches shorter than spec. As I worked to replace the antenna, I found the receiver had been cracked and glued.
after antenna replacement it would not link / bind with the radio...
I should probably get a replacement receiver, and keep this thing for my second car.
It frustrated me that it didn't work well.
I should probably not pursue selling it until I test that it can bind properly to a known good receiver.
I would probably be happier with a used Futaba 4pl radio. I already have two receivers for it.
