Yeah, it helps spread out the load from the screw holding stuff down...but on the shock towers the benefit is limited, at best.
Ok thanks good to know, it does look cool but if that was the only reason for them ... not sure I would spend the money
got to many other things that come before bling factor, but if they do help in key areas like the steering top plate then I will figure out what color I want lol.
