OK, I got my truck back together with new ider gears, clutch basket and the pro4 4600. WOW! Clearing the triple most every time now and those 32 pitch gears sound so badass. I was running my MMP in full sensored mode with "normal" timing (8* I think) and she was running too hot. I switched it to smartsense mode with the same timing and had about a 40 degree drop in temp. So, those with the MMP and sensored motor, which mode are you running your MMP in? I hear that smartsense is supposed to run more efficiently at high speeds. I think the 4600 is very controllable in this truck and faaaassssst. WHat is too hot for this motor? I think I'll add the yeah fan.
When I ran a MMP I ran it in sensored mode so that I could use boost. Once you switched to "smart sense" you must not of been running boost anymore which is why your temps droped. To run "CHEAT" or "boost" you have to be in sensored mode so I dont see how you where running the same timing when you switched. You do not need 8* of boost with that Pro 4 motor though. How hot was your motor when you temped it before you switched to "smart sense"?
