True, but that incoming air would be partly warm. Where as if it pushed the hot air away, it would also be pulling cold air through the fins of the esc.
Idk, either way would probably work. I gave up on my sidewinder after it overheated and the thermal didnt trip. (yes I had the fan on it. But the fan blade broke and got jammed.) Sent it in along with $75 and my new mmp should be at my doorstep sometime this week.
