I ran a 5.5 on RS Pro and had to use an ESC fan and remove the front hole in the body on the ESC side. I saw very litttle temp change until I remoed a section in the rear vertical portion of the body. Air needed to get in and out! Now I run the Orion R10 ESC and a Orion Vortex 7.5 and it needs neither a fan or vents in the body.
BINGO! If you create an entrance, you also need to create an exit. I have the two larger scoops cut out, five large holes on the small vertical section behind the windows and the majority of the rear vertical section of the body removed. Temps of my LRP 8.5 geared 21/81 after 5 minutes is 150-152 and the R10 is only warm to the touch.
